Due to technology and employee preferences, working remotely and flexible schedules are more common than ever. There are some potential pitfalls, but there can be great benefits for productivity and employee happiness as well. People able to shift their work are 55 percent more engaged than those who can't, and a full 86 percent of employees want the option:
