Comedian Will Ferrell has made at least 19 commercials for Old Milwaukee beer, apparently free of charge, that are rolling out gradually in local TV markets in places like Davenport, Iowa, and Terre Haute, Ind. They are all hilarious, too.
We brought you the first three on Dec. 6. Since then four more have appeared and this local TV news report indicates that Ferrell shot 12 spots at the Cedar Street Inn in Davenport, none of which have been seen yet.
As more of them reach their air, more Midwesterners record them, and then upload them to YouTube -- where they are blowing up. This one has had nearly 400,000 views.
Here's a collection of all seven ads that are available so far, starting with this one in which Ferrell stops traffic at an intersection in Terre Haute:
"I do not know how I got here ..."
"We are a nation of backyards, and there's a lot of rickety looking trampolines out there."
"How about Terre Haute?"
In this one, Ferrell cycles through Terre haute randomly saying hello to strangers. (The previous three commercials are also included in this video, so you can skip them and go to the next slide.)
